When Are the Zombies Gonna Come Out Again

Every Jan 15th (or "115 Day" as it'south known to fans), we traditionally take a moment to share a preview of what'south to come in Zombies. As luck would have it, our next major update arrives this week in Call of Duty: Vanguard, then nosotros're honoring 115 Day a footling earlier than usual this yr!

While our latest incarnation in Vanguard takes an entirely new roguelike approach to the mode, we know our players also want the choice to fight never-ending waves of zombies and grind weapon camos with no downtime between rounds.

This week's update delivers on that feedback, plus much more. Read on below for all the details.

SURVIVAL GAMEPLAY COMES TO "SHI NO NUMA"

Starting at 4PM PT January. 11 / 12AM ET January. 12, our mid-season update brings classic survival gameplay to "Shi No Numa" in the new Void Objective, which will likewise serve every bit the introduction to the new Dark Aether entity and story quest coming in Flavor Two. Invest your Sacrificial Hearts at the Tome of Rituals to unlock the following upgrades during a friction match:

Frost Blast

  • Tier Ii – Freezes normal and Special enemies for iii seconds once they have been in the Frost Boom zone for 0.5 2nd.
  • Tier 3 – Increases the Frost Boom radius past 100%.
  • Tier 4 – Increases the number of charges from 1 to 3.
  • Tier V – Frozen normal enemies are insta-killed when damaged.

Energy Mine

  • Tier Ii – Stuns normal and Special enemies hit by Free energy Mine for 3 seconds.
  • Tier Iii – Explodes 3 times in a row with a 0.75 2nd delay betwixt explosions.
  • Tier 4 – Increases the number of charges from i to 3.
  • Tier V – Increases the explosion radius by 66%.

Aether Shroud

  • Tier Ii – Automatically reload weapons when activated.
  • Tier III – Deal 500% bonus melee harm while agile.
  • Tier IV – Gain 50% motion speed while active. Elapsing extended from 5 seconds to eight seconds.
  • Tier 5 – Increases the number of charges from 1 to 2.

Ring of Fire

  • Tier II – Normal enemies inside the band accept damage equal to 2% of their max HP every second.
  • Tier 3 – Players within the ring employ ammo from stock.
  • Tier Iv – Staying within the band for up to 10 seconds increases the duration from 15 seconds to 20 seconds.
  • Tier V – Staying inside the ring for upwardly to 10 seconds increases your damage bonus from +50% to +75%.
